CAN’T MISS CONFERENCE EVENTS FOR STUDENTS

 TUESDAY:

  • Conference registration opens at 7:00 am. Be sure to visit the Student Affairs table after you visit registration — and any time you have questions!
  • Welcome Reception/Taco Bar – First chance to meet and network with professionals (7:00 – 9:00 pm)*

WEDNESDAY:

  • Breakfast Roundtable: Linking Research on Climate Change to On-the-Ground Management (7:30 AM)*
  • Concurrent Sessions! Attend at least one, if not more, concurrent sessions on topics that interest you. Feel free to switch sessions between presenters. (1:00 – 5:00 pm)
  • Poster Viewing and Judging – see what other wildlife students (and professionals) are researching at the poster session (2:00 – 7:00 pm)
  • Resume Workshop for Undergrads (3:00 – 5:00 pm)
  • Members Banquet/Awards (7:00 – 10:00 pm)*

THURSDAY:

  • Concurrent Sessions (8:30 am – 12:00 pm)
  • Resume Workshop for Undergrads (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
  • Plenary Session: Advancing Wildlife Conservation through Integration and Alignment in Planning (2:00 – 5:00 pm)
  • Chapter Meetings (8:00 – 9:30 pm)

FRIDAY:

  • Resume Workshop for Graduate Students (8:00 – 10:00 am)
  • Concurrent Sessions (8:30 am – 12:30 pm)
  • Job Interview Panel (10:00 – 11:00 am)
  • Career Fair (10:00 am – 12:30 pm)
  • Resume Critiques (10:30 am – 12:30 pm)

POST-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS:
